Wednesday 4-10 Lentic System

Lentic system is defined as nonflowing or standing body of freshwater. So some examples would be Lake Lewisville, Ballast Pond, the Yenyening Lakes, Wolf Swamp, Georgie Salt Marshes, Crowberry Bog, and Lake Conroe which is a reservoir. All of these are all examples of a Lentic system. The common thing between all of them is that they are all nonflowing and all freshwater. So a river would not be an example of this.
